At IES Tiempos Modernos we want to promote respect in all its forms as a fundamental basis for creating a fairer society.
For this reason, education must include consideration and rejection of all cruelty towards animals, as they are especially defenseless and vulnerable.
As he saidGandhi:“The greatness of a nation can be judged by the way they treat their animals.”With this objective, on December 11th we received a visit from a teacher from Aula Animal who agreed to give 2 talks to 5 groups of 1st and 2nd year ESO students in the auditorium of our center.
We would like to thank you for your generosity in selflessly giving your time to inform and raise awareness among students about this important topic. We look forward to your collaboration again for other talks this spring.
“I really enjoyed this talk, as I completely agree that animals suffer too. Some people aren't aware of the harm they inflict on animals. Also, since 99% of children only think of dogs and cats when we talk to them about animal abuse, even though there are over 1,000 animal species, I'd like to see that information shared with children, and you achieved that with your talk. Thank you!”
