Hoy os presentamos el proyecto con el que desde Animal Class estamos colaborando.
Se trata de la organización Palestinian Animal League, la primera organización en Cisjordania que une en su mensaje los derechos animales con la dignidad del pueblo palestino. Impulsado por un grupo de activistas locales, PAL está desarrollando una gran labor de concienciación en la sociedad palestina, creando redes que fomenten un trato ético con los animales.
When we learned about the project, we were greatly surprised: pThey must consider their situation, the political and social circumstances they live in, and be able to include other animals in their message of respect and equality. Indeed, they emphasize that the subjugation of the Palestinian people under the Israeli regime does not justify Palestinians discriminating against and mistreating the animals with whom they live.
Liz Tyson is the Palestinian Animal League's representative in Europe and a collaborator with the organization. This is the full talk she gave at the University of the Basque Country during her tour of Spain.
