At the halfway point of this course, the first question was zoos and farm schools as educational resources which, as you know, are a very popular option in schools so that children can learn about animals from a young age.

In the second half of the session, we were fortunate to have César Bona, coordinator of the El Cuarto Hochico (The Fourth Snout) project. An English teacher at the Muel Rural School (CRA), César explained how this virtual animal shelter, created and run by his thirteen students, came about, and the achievements they have made since its inception, garnering support from all five continents. Positive education and conveying to young children that their actions can save animals is the key to their educational work.
