The Zaragoza Aquarium, home to over 1,200 freshwater animals in its sixty tanks, is trying to promote its educational side to schools in the region through the following "training" offer for teachers. This is what we received via email:
"The purpose of this email is to publicize the educational offer of the Zaragoza Aquarium, for which the Department of Education is organizing Teacher's Day.
This special day will consist of a brief presentation of the Zaragoza Aquarium and the Department of Education in the Zaragoza Aquarium Auditorium, after which a guided tour of the Aquarium will be given and participants will receive the Zaragoza Aquarium Educational Guide. The approximate duration will be 1 hour and 45 minutes. (…)
Escríbeles a pedagogia@acuariodezaragoza.com para explicarles por qué hay un sector cada vez mayor del profesorado que no apostamos por este tipo de educación donde pretenden asentar la idea de se puede condenar a los peces a un encierro perpetuo tratándolos como una pieza de museo independientemente de sus necesidades e intereses.
