A lo largo de la historia se ha utilizado el arte para transmitir mensajes reivindicativos. Nosotros proponemos el estudio de esta faceta en la asignatura de Historia del Arte. Como ejemplo hemos tomado el trabajo de la activista y pintora Roma Velarde (http://www.roma-velarde.blogspot.com.es/)
We suggest that the teacher show these works to the class and ask the students questions such as: What message is the artist trying to convey? How do you think the animal in the photo feels? Do you think the painter has a purely artistic objective or is she also posing an ethical dilemma?
