Introduction
This activity is aimed at 4th-year ESO students and falls within the subject of Ethics and Civics. The debate surrounding traditional forms of entertainment related to animal cruelty has long held significant importance in our society. One such form, bullfighting, has achieved a certain degree of widespread consensus regarding its immorality. However, the debate surrounding other Spanish traditions, such as the one we are discussing here, hare hunting, does not enjoy the same social impact. Consequently, an uninformed society is unable to generate the necessary debate to pressure the authorities towards ethical measures that regulate these types of activities. This documentary could prove crucial in initiating that debate:

Timing
The activity will take place in two sessions. The first session will involve the teacher explaining the current state of Spanish traditions related to animal abuse, as well as the concept of abuse linked to respect for animals. The second session will be dedicated to watching the documentary, and the third to a discussion moderated by the teacher, following individual analysis of the film outside of class.
