Public schools are particularly suffering the brunt of these new neoliberal policies, and in addition to the impact on teachers' jobs, thousands of families don't know how they will cope with the start of the school year after a massive elimination of grants for books and school meals.

Thus, to avoid confusion and false stereotypes regarding the vegan diet, a collaborator of Aula Animal developed a simple, complete and economical vegan menu model in accordance with the nutritional needs of a child of around 8 years old, which was delivered to the Administration to facilitate the task and demonstrate – as happened – that it was a totally feasible menu.
